 The Respiratory Therapy Department at Chambers Memorial Hospital specializes in providing all aspects of respiratory care and cardiac monitoring to both in and out-patients. The department is open for outpatient services from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. The outpatient services offered, as ordered by your primary health care provider include Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter Cardiac monitoring, EKGs and Cardiac Stress Testing.
Respiratory Therapy is the ancillary specialty that focuses on all matters related to patient’s breathing. This includes oxygen therapy, all modes of routine floor therapy, as well as ventilator management, both invasive and no-invasive modes, as well as cardiac monitoring as described above. There are 4 respiratory therapists on staff, with over 70 years experience between them. All of them have passed the national certification exam in respiratory care; two of them have passed the advanced national registry boards as well. All of them have been licensed by the Arkansas State Medical Board as respiratory care practitioners.
